Coro expands cybersecurity platform with integrated user training to reduce human error

Cloud cybersecurity startup Coro Cyber Security Ltd. today unveiled its Security Awareness Training module to help small to medium-sized businesses reduce human error, defend against phishing attacks, and demonstrate compliance without adding new tools to manage.

The new SAT module is integrated into Coro’s modular cybersecurity platform, allowing smaller businesses to deliver personalized, adaptive training to users based on behavioral signals and risk patterns. Coro says it addresses human error, which is involved in more than 90% of cybersecurity breaches. With phishing threats growing more sophisticated thanks to generative artificial intelligence, the module is designed to empower employees with the knowledge they need to identify and avoid common social engineering tactics.

The company is pitching the new module as being different from existing standalone platforms that can be costly, siloed and difficult to maintain. In contrast, Coro says, its SAT module can be deployed and managed from the same dashboard already used to protect endpoints, data and users.

The module features AI-powered phishing simulations modeled on modern attack techniques, including email scams and impersonation tactics, allowing administrators to test user awareness and pinpoint areas of vulnerability. The offering is complemented with visual dashboards that provide real-time insight into risk levels, allowing for quick adjustments and targeted follow-up training.

One notable feature of the platform is its intelligent adaptation to user behavior. When employees fail phishing tests or display risky activity, the system automatically assigns short, targeted content to close knowledge gaps. Admins can also automate training schedules by department or job role, supporting use cases such as onboarding, quarterly refreshers or regulatory compliance.

The module also includes a reporting suite that offers visibility into engagement metrics, completion rates and risk reduction over time. The reports can be used to satisfy auditors or stakeholders by demonstrating compliance with various regulatory standards.

“Over 90% of breaches start with human error,” said Chief Executive Guy Moskowitz. “AI has made phishing attacks more convincing than ever, which is why our SAT module delivers intelligent, adaptive training, built directly into the Coro platform. No complexity, tool sprawl or integration headaches — just effective protection where it matters most: your people.”

Coro is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $275 million in venture capital funding, including a round of $100 million in March 2024. Investors include Energy Impact Partners L.P., Balderton Capital LLP and Jerusalem Venture Partners Ltd.
